Now when one takes off and lands, everything looks correct in front and in one’s peripheral vision. The centre-line and surface also look so much better than the blurry default, especially in VR. Even the partial glass cockpit doesn’t look or feel like any other. The instruments have a lot of character compared to modern glass cockpits. Resembling the 707 but distinctly different, the DC8s have that big plane feel when in the simulated skies. So you don’t get a plane that looks different but flies the same as every other commercial airliner. A solid flight model that feels different from the 737s and the likes. This aircraft set isn’t any better but just as good, and I just happen to like the stretch versions like these. I also have the DC8 10 - 50 package and I like this one better.
